Williamson High School is accredited by the New York State Education Department. We maintain a strong focus on the traditional core curricula in English, Social Studies, Math, Science and Languages while offering exciting opportunities in music and the arts, technology and business.
Williamson offers additional educational opportunities in the following areas:
Advanced Placement (AP) - Calculus AB, English Language, English Literature, English Language.
FLCC/SUNY Gemini Program - A dual enrollment program which allows students to enroll in college level courses taught at WHS and receive college credit. Course offerings include: Biology, English, Environmental Science, French, Mathematics of Money, Pre-Calculus, Psychology, Sociology, Spanish, and US History.
New Vision - A program through Wayne Technical and Career Center for students interested in medical careers, veterinary science or health therapy sciences.
Project Lead The Way (PLTW) - A program which includes pre-engineering and technology courses with the possibility of earning college credit from Rochester Institute of Technology. Courses include: Design and Draw for Production, Principles of Engineering, Digital Electronics, and Civil Engineering and Architecture.
Wayne Technical and Career Center (WTCC) - A state-of-the-art program providing high quality, comprehensive technological and career programs to high school students in Wayne County. Programs include: Advance Manufacturing and Engineering, Animal Science, Auto Body Repair, Automotive Technology, Carpentry, Computer Programming and Video Game Design, Conservation, Cosmetology, Criminal Justice, Culinary Arts, Electrical Trades, Health Professions, Power Mechanics, and Professions in Education and Human Services.
